The UK Legal Tech Association (UKLTA) has announced that Lauren Watson Head of Product Marketing at Robin AI has been appointed Chair of the Association for the next 3 years. Lauren takes over from Matt Pennington who was the founder of UKLTA back in 2018 and has successfully led the organisation to its established position as the only organisation that brings law firms and tech providers under one roof.

Lauren said ‘I am delighted to be succeeding Matt Pennington as Chair of the UKLTA. I am deeply passionate about the intersection between law and technology and the benefits that it can deliver for the legal sector. I think the UKLTA plays such an important role as a bridge between law firms, legal professionals, technology suppliers, students and more, and I’m very excited for the journey ahead and taking Matt’s legacy forward’.

Matt Pennington commented ‘I am really pleased that Lauren is succeeding me as Chair of UKLTA. She brings great enthusiasm and passion to the role and is the ideal person to take UKLTA to the next level as the dynamic forum helping to shape the future of legaltech. The Association is in great hands.’

UKLTA’s membership continues to grow as law firms and tech providers come together collaboratively to shape the future of legaltech.
