Lauren Watson
Lauren WatsonChair & Director

Lauren has worked in the legal sector for the last 10 years, with over 5 years working for legal technology companies in the UK. She’s worked with hundreds of law firms ranging from mid-market firms to the global top 20 to manage all aspects of people, process and technology. Lauren is passionate about the intersection of law and technology, and how that can deliver benefits to the whole legal market.

Lauren is currently Head of Product Marketing at Robin AI, a contract infrastructure platform. She previously held sales, partnerships and go-to-market strategy roles at Legl, CrowdJustice and Jameson Legal.

Pippa Shepherd
Pippa ShepherdExecutive Board Member & Director

Head of Customer Engagement at Arken.legal (UK) Ltd leading the sales, marketing and customer success functions.  Previously Pippa has held senior commercial roles across sales, marketing and customer engagement for over 25 years.  Alongside this, is 18 years of specialism in leading subscription-based income streams mixing commercial and client centricity programmes with effective new product development.

Rob Hosier

Rob has over 12 years’ experience in legal services and has helped develop some of the largest Conveyancing Practices in the UK. Proven track record in managing sales teams; budgets and marketing strategies.

Darren Kantor

Darren’s career spans 24 years in technology services, with 18 of those years dedicated to the legal technology sector. Darren currently serve as the Director & Global Head of Jameson Legal Tech, an innovative and leading comprehensive legal technology consultancy, and part of the Jameson Legal Group. His role involves overseeing three critical domains: People, Process, and Technology. In this capacity, he facilitates a strategic connection between technology partners and Law Firm and In-House Legal clients. Jameson Legal’s services cater to a diverse clientele, including tech vendors, law firms, and in-house corporate legal teams. They offer a spectrum of solutions, encompassing, growth advisory, lead generation, recruitment, talent growth, implementation, change management, data extraction, and training & adoption services.

Darren’s core competencies include legal tech recruitment and consultancy, legal PMS solutions, Elite 3E, Smart Time, and legal tech implementation. He has delivered consistent growth in sales and profit in new markets, established and maintained long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and identified and secured the best talent in the market for client requirements. As an Executive Board Member for the UKLTA he is passionate about driving innovation and excellence in the legal technology industry and empowering others to achieve their goals.

Simon Law
Simon LawExecutive Board Member & Director

Simon Law is a Licensed Conveyancer with over 20 years experienced in conveyancing.

Simon is a Director and Head of Legal Practice for DC Law and JS Law (which DC Law purchased in September 2016).

Simon has extensive experience working in the profession having worked for large and small firms. Simon established Secure Legal Solutions in 2010, which merged with DC Law in January 2013.

Simon is the current Chairperson of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (the professional body which represents Licensed Conveyancers).

Tom Lyes
Tom LyesExecutive Board Member & Director

With 10 years experience in the Residential Conveyancing market at a Law Firm and a leading Compliance tool Tom joined Armalytix in October 21, with the aim of helping law firms get source of funds information safely and efficiently from clients using Open Banking and other smart technology including document recognition. Source of funds is a significant challenge for Law Firms as outlined by the SRA, CLC and LSAG guidance. Tom sees huge room for growth in how this information is collected and how technology can help analyse the data to better support lawyers. With market leading analysis, Tom believes Armalytix can play a key part in helping stem the rise in financial crime and stop the vulnerable being exploited.
